Race 1 started with a crash on the first lap. Just after being robbed of his first place at the start by Evan Giltaire, Canadian Kevin Foster spun at the Foch chicane and left the race early on. Enzo Peugeot started 6th, but quickly attacked behind Hiyu Yamakoshi, passing the Japanese driver on the second lap and chasing Giltaire.
Faster in the first part of the race, Peugeot found the opening on lap 6. Thereafter, the two drivers were equal in terms of performance and the positions did not change. Peugeot won ahead of Giltaire and Yamakoshi. Behind them, Belgian Yani Stevenheydens overtook Italian Leonardo Megna to take 4th place. Long 6th, Louis Schesser had to retire mid-race.
The last top 10 places, synonymous with Championship points, went to American Garrett Berry, Spaniard Pol Lopez, Frenchman Adrien Closmenil, Canadian Jason Leung and Frenchman Paul Alberto. Ukrainian Yaroslav Veselaho was 11th before an incident. Romain Andriolo started 24th and made a great comeback to 13th place behind German Tom Kalender and Frenchman Edgar Pierre.
