Two weeks after the hotly disputed race at Spa Francorchamps, the drivers of the FFSA Academy French F4 Championship will discover another challenging circuit with the 3156 metres of the Lédenon track. Hot weather is promised in the Gard for this summer meeting organised as part of the famous GT Series.
Since the beginning of the year, no less than six drivers have already won a race: Hadrien David (3), Reshad De Gerus (2), Isack Hadjar, Ugo Gazil, Enzo Valente and Paul-Adrien Pallot. Only 13 points separate the leader David from the Reunion driver De Gerus and a new confrontation can not be ruled out between these two talented former kart drivers.
However, other drivers showed a high enough level of performance to aim for a first win, such as the American Nicky Hays, the Winfield Volant Jules Mettetal, Evan Spenle, Gillian Henrion, currently 4th overall, or the repeating Stuart White.
In F4 Junior, Isack Hadjar (14 and a half years) for the moment is in the lead of his category in front of Victor Bernier and Paul-Adrien Pallot, who have just celebrated their 15th birthdays. These last two hope to reverse the trend as quickly as possible.
After Free Practice and Qualifying, three races are scheduled during the weekend, including the second that promises a spectacular show with a reverse grid for the top 10 of Race 1.
After Lédenon, the very international FIA-certified French F4 Championship will start the second half of the season, as there will be only three meetings left. In other words, this meeting is already of great importance.
